WaktuSolatMini is designed to do one focused job without collecting more information than it needs. This policy explains how the macOS app and this website handle information.
1. Information the app uses
Location
If you grant location permission, WaktuSolatMini uses your approximate current location to identify the appropriate Malaysian prayer-time zone. Location access is used for this app function and is not used to build a location history or advertising profile.
Notification permission
If you grant notification permission, the app can send prayer-related reminders, including a reminder 15 minutes before the next prayer time. Notification permission can be changed at any time in macOS System Settings.
Preferences and timetable data
Your selected prayer zone, appearance, launch preference, and downloaded timetable dataset may be stored locally on your Mac so the app can work offline. This information remains on the device unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.
2. Internet access and timetable updates
When timetable syncing is enabled or manually requested, the app connects to the timetable service to check for and download available prayer-time data. Like any internet request, the service provider may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, request time, and user-agent data. WaktuSolatMini does not use this request to create an advertising profile.
After timetable data has been downloaded, the core prayer-time display can operate from the locally stored dataset without a continuous internet connection.
3. Information this website handles
This marketing website does not provide user accounts, comment forms, or advertising cookies. It does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.
The website is hosted using Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process limited technical and security logs—such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps—to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. That processing is governed by Cloudflare’s applicable privacy terms.
4. Data sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only when needed to operate the app or website, comply with law, protect users and the service, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention and control
Local app preferences and timetable data remain on your Mac until they are replaced, reset, or the app and its data are removed. Hosting and security providers may retain technical logs according to their own operational and legal retention periods.
You can control the app’s access through:
- macOS Privacy & Security settings for Location Services;
- macOS Notifications settings;
- WaktuSolatMini’s General and Advanced preferences; and
- removing the app and its locally stored data from your Mac.
6. Children’s privacy
WaktuSolatMini is a general-audience utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, website, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its official distribution page.
